Annual Training Conference

The NHCAA Institute for Health Care Fraud Prevention's Annual Training Conference (ATC) is recognized as the single-most important health care anti-fraud event, spotlighting trends and emerging schemes.

During these unprecedented times, NHCAA has transitioned our in-person programs to virtual programs. The 2020 Annual Training Conference is moving to an online virtual format from November 17-20, 2020. We’ll still offer the same great content, an Anti-Fraud Expo Hall, and networking. All in a new format.

What to know before the ATC

  • Each person must be registered to attend the ATC. This program is not designed to be streamed or shared with a group.
  • There is no max capacity for each session so there is no need to pre-register for individual sessions.
  • All sessions are pre-recorded but play in real-time according to the agenda. You can chat with the speakers live at that time.
  • After the conference, you will have 24-hour access to all of the sessions through the conference platform until December 30, 2020.
  • Each day will begin at 11:00 am ET/ 10:00 am CT/ 8:00 am PT with a general session and end around 4:00 pm ET/ 3:00 pm CT/ 12:00 pm PT.
  • Materials associated with the presentations will be available on the conference platform. Please note that not all materials will be available.
  • You must attend the sessions during the conference, November 17-20 in order to earn credits.
  • At the end of the conference, you will receive a link to complete an evaluation. Upon completing that evaluation, you will receive your certificate.
  • We are offering 13 CPEs and 9 AAPC credits.
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge are the preferred browsers that are recommended to achieve optimal performance while in the conference platform.

Earn Continuing Education Credits

Attendees can earn continuing education credits to support the following designations:

Earn up to 13 credit hours toward AHFI®Accreditation

All Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours earned through the NHCAA Institute Programs are applicable to the training requirements for professional designation by the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA) as an Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator (AHFI®).

All cancellations (regardless of date) will be assessed with $100.00 administrative fee. All written notice of cancellations and substitutions should be sent via email to the Education & Training team, at training@nhcaa.org.

Before cut-off date: To cancel and obtain a full refund (minus an administrative fee) or to request a substitution, you must provide written notice to The NHCAA Institute - ATC.

After cut-off date: If you cancel in writing after the cutoff date, no refund will be provided but credit for future training is available. All substitution requests received after the cut-off date will be charged a $100.00 administrative fee.

CONFERENCE ELIGIBILITY

Conference registration is open to all NHCAA member categories. Non-members interested in registering must be in a managerial, supervisory or professional position for a private for-profit or not-for-profit health care reimbursement organization. Employees of local, state or federal law enforcement, prosecutorial, or regulatory agency or in a professional disciplinary organization are also welcome. All registrations will be reviewed to ensure these eligibility requirements are met. If you are not in one of these positions, but wish to attend please send an email to: training@nhcaa.org.
